Mendi’s New Athlete-Focused Full Spectrum CBD Products by Rachael Rapinoe Launches

Current and former professional athletes entered the world of CBD when the Farm Bill passed in late 2018. While some players became advocates for contemporary brands, trailblazers like Rachael Rapinoe decided to develop an entirely new brand. As she focused on the needs of her fellow athletes, Rapinoe has now announced the launch of her new full-spectrum CBD line.

Mendi’s New Athlete-Focused Full Spectrum CBD Products by Rachael Rapinoe Launches
  • Athlete-focused CBD company Mendi, co-founded by Rachael Rapinoe, a professional soccer player.
  • The new full-spectrum product line includes both CBD topical and ingestible remedies.

Rachael Rapinoe entered the world of wellness products by co-founding a company with Kendra Freeman called Mendi, centering around the use of CBD for athletes in their recovery and performance. Now, according to reports from Benzinga, the brand has launched a new product line with full-spectrum CBD extract in topical creams, gummy supplements, and tinctures. These new CBD products will complement the current focus on recovery.

With everything from stress relief to digestive support, the new line will use all of the compounds that can naturally be found in CBD. Full-spectrum CBD uses every part of the plant to create the extract, giving users the possibility of experiencing the entourage effect (i.e., the results that come from the inclusion of other terpenes and compounds in hemp and cannabis. Rapinoe remarked,

“We came to market with our Base Line (THC free), so our network of pro athletes could be in the fold from the very beginning. The Base Line is safe for athletes who need to be WADA/IOC compliant.”

Still, that adherence to the rules doesn’t mean that consumers won’t see incredible benefits. With over a hundred different compounds and terpenes from the plant, Rapinoe states that the extracts used in the products are “unbeatable.” Rapinoe added,

“For anyone not under a testing policy, we highly recommend incorporating our Core Line into your recovery regimen.”

The New Products

The new Mendi’s cream offers pain relief to users when applied, keeping discomfort controlled for up to three hours. To ensure that consumers enjoy the pain relief and the cream itself, it offers floral and cherrywood aromas.

The new AM/PM tinctures have both CBD and botanical herbs in them, easing inflammation as they support the digestive process and help the user to sleep better. These products offer a high level of CBD in each dose, making it more of a healing supplement to take daily.

Consumers that prefer to consume their CBD blends can use the vegan, organic gummies, which each contain 25 milligrams of CBD.
