As more CBD products show up in the wellness industry, companies that are well known and established in this niche are adding to their collections. To shine more light on the Harbor Hemp brand, Glen and David Boggini have just added another product to their CBD line – Calm Seas Seltzer.

This new non-alcoholic drink is created at one of their first licensed CBD manufacturing facilities and with a cGMP certification, located in Connecticut. With the use of a proprietary process involving water-soluble CBD nano-emulsion, each can of the new Calm Seas seltzer contains 26 mg of CBD.

In a statement on BevNet, co-owner Glen stated, “Our customers have been requesting a non-alcoholic CBD-infused seltzer, and, we were ready to answer that call with a great tasting beverage with 26 mg of CBD per can.”

“Leveraging our experiences with beverages, our grandfather taught us to always source the best ingredients, and that’s why we only use hemp that is the US grown, non-GMO, and pesticide-free,” added David, the brother of Glen.

When the pandemic began, Harbor Hemp focused on developing the seltzer as a way to create hand sanitizer, thanks to the byproducts of their production processes. The hand sanitizer, which is 80% alcohol, can be found both online and in stores for purchase, supporting the efforts of first responders in the company’s immediate area.

While CBD comes from industrial hemp plants, it is hardly the only natural cannabinoid to come from them. However, it doesn’t intoxicate consumers like THC often does, and is entirely legal to use. When consuming CBD, the receptors in the endocannabinoid system are livened, helping with general health and wellness.

At this time, the Harbor Hemp Company offers CBD oil, soft gels, pain cream, oil for pets, drops, massage oil, and dog treats, starting at about $16.00. All of these products (plus the 4-pack of Calm Seas) can be found on HarborHempCompany.com, though in-store sales are limited to the New England area of the country.
