Las Vegas Superstore Planet 13 to Welcome Cannabition Cannabis Art Museum in 2020
  • The SuperStore is the Las Vegas Cannabis Entertainment Complex.
  • A tentative opening day has been set in Q2 2020, but regulatory approval is needed to set an exact date.

One of the leading cannabis companies in Nevada is Planet 13 Holdings, and it is making some interesting changes, according to reports from CNW Group. The Cannabition Cannabis Museum has become one of the latest additions to Planet 13 as the latest member of the Las Vegas Cannabis Entertainment Complex. Previously, Cannabition operated as an art museum in Las Vegas, using 10,500 square feet to immerse attendees in cannabis-friendly culture with 20 unique installations.

Commenting on the decision to integrate Cannabition, co-CEO Larry Scheffler of Planet 13 stated,

“Cannabition’s multi-level immersive cannabis art museum fits perfectly with the SuperStore Mission to create an interactive and differentiated cannabis-based experience.”

The SuperStore also added a customer-facing production facility, an event center, a Pizzeria, and a Cafe, and the addition of this cannabis-based museum “will continue to cement the SuperStore’s reputation as a one-of-a-kind shopping and entertainment destination in Las Vegas.” After all, no dispensary has quite the same effect as Cannabition.

The founder of Cannabition, J.J. Walker, explained that the SuperStore presently sees “over 3,000 cannabis enthusiasts” on a daily basis, making it the ideal way to introduce Cannabition to a large audience. The museum has already been publicized through media outlets like CNN, Conan O’Brian, and CNBC. Walker added, “I know Planet 13 visitors will love our immersive exhibits, innovative event space, and curated retail store.”

Their addition to the SuperStore is scheduled to last for a term of five years, though they will have an option to add three more years as well. Presently, the size of the Cannabition exhibit will be 7,000 square feet, which could change as the final opening date approaches. Regulatory approval is still needed in Nevada to establish this date, but the entities involved believe that this facility will be able to launch in the second quarter of 2020.
