On October 1, 2019, American Eagle will be launching its CBD wellness line, to be sold exclusively in its stores.
The company’s executive, Chad Kessler, shared several months ago why the company considered introducing a CBD line. Kessler stated, “We don’t think there should be an age restriction. As I said, we are sticking to just topical CBD, which all the evidence shows is safe.”
The line of CBD products come from the partnership between the company and Green Growth Brands. Kessler stated about the partnership,
“We have a lot of confidence in their supply chain to make sure their product is clean and safe.” Specifically, about the CBD product line, he stated, “We know that not everybody’s going to be excited about it, but we do intend to do a lot of education to ease the concerns that parents or customers might have.”
Reportedly, the new line of CBD products will be called “Mood” and includes developed with the customer in mind. Further, the line is expected to include both CBD and non-CBD products. The formulas will feature options such as moisturizers, aromatherapy oils, sugar scrubs, and foaming face wash. Further, the formula feature fun names such as “Chill,” “Energized, and “zZz.”
