Vapen MJ Gets Patent Granted for Its New Metered-Dose Cannabinoid Inhaler
Early today, Vapen MJ received the U.S. patent for their inhaler system. Patent #10,231,948 was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
The inhaler is a system containing an actuator which is an interchangeable canister assembly. This aims to purify cannabinoids from cannabis, hydrofluorocarbon, ethanol, and isolated terpene.
The company is also looking into a white label production of the CBD Inhaler by partnering with a large-volume manufacturer. This will help Vapen MJ get a wider distribution and reach for those who are interested in the Inhaler delivery method. Thai Nguyen, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Vapen MJ says that:
“we are very satisfied with the scope of this patent covering the device, the delivered content, and the use of a propellant, all key elements that enable this safe and convenient inhaler to give customers simply the best way to get a precise and measured dose. This broad utility patent brings tremendous value to our Company and our brand, as well as new opportunities to drive sales, expand our market presence, and increase shareholder value.”
The patent is valid until 2038 and it covers Vapen MJ’s THC and CBD Inhaler devices. The propellant used in these products atomize the two substances so they can enter the lungs without the use of heat. These inhalers are a new convenient alternative to smoking and consuming THC and CBD products.
