CBD Raw Chocolate by Burroughs Chocolate Can Be Found in Vermont, The Home of Dairy

Published

on

Edibles are quickly becoming a favorite way for consumers to enjoy their CBD on multiple levels. Kyle Burroughs, an entrepreneur in this area of the industry, learned the art of raw chocolate while in Hawaii, ultimately settling his business in Vermont. While Vermont is well known for its dairy, this raw chocolate is completely vegan, appealing to an entirely new group of CBD enthusiast.

The Burroughs family created a dairy farm in the 1920s in Vermont, before the area was even considered a state. The farm was passed down with each new generation, but Burroughs’ grandfather declined, and the farm went to his great aunt instead.

Burroughs went off the beaten path, becoming a sponsored amateur athlete, which ended when a case of vertigo led him to leave the industry in 2008. After discovering the benefits of raw foods in his diet, Burroughs followed David Wolfe’s class in Hawaii to learn about this regimen and become certified in these teachings.

By 2011, he was ready to begin his own business in his home state. Burroughs is allergic to dairy, leading him to develop the vegan company, Burroughs Chocolate.

While most chocolates are made with roasted cacao beans that can cause inflammation, raw chocolate offers twice as many antioxidants for better health. In adding CBD to this product, Burroughs states that many customers report feeling

“decreased anxiety and an overall sense of calmness and wellbeing.”

Still, since CBD impacts people at different levels, Burroughs recommends that users “take it slow and see how you feel.” The bars can easily be broken down to a total of eight pieces, ensuring that customers can choose how intense the relaxation effect is. The bar is 80 milligrams, and a typical dose ranges from 5 to 20 milligrams.
