Cannabidiol and Beauty Industry are Merging as CBD Producers Look to Spa Market Applications
The spa market is becoming a target for the CBD industry. Recently, Yield Growth announced that it plans to target the luxury spa market with its CBD-infused Urban Juve product line.
President of Urban Juve, Sandi Lesuer, shared in the press release,
“As the demand for luxury cannabis-infused cosmetics continues to grow, the high-end spa market represents a new opportunity to access our customer base and increase our revenues.”
She added,
“Our CBD products contain the cleanest, highest quality distillate and essential oils, meaning they're as effective as they are luxurious. Spas often want exclusive products, and the Urban Juve CBD Spa Treatment Line is unique in the marketplace, making it a natural fit.”
Further, Trend Hunter reported that the use of CBD spa products is also on the rise. Perhaps in light of the growth of CBD products in the luxury spa market, Hemp Industry Daily addressed in an article strategies that do not seem obvious that CBD producers can use to tap the spa market. A few of these strategies include moving away from samples, not addressing the origin of products but how it was grown and harvested, and how the workforce was treated, having a training plan, considering that full-spectrum may not be best, and not overlooking non-CBD ingredients.
