Acabada ProActiveWear Introduces CBD Infused Activewear with Luxury Fabric Clothing

Acabada ProActiveWear is an activewear company whose products are sustainably made in Portugal out of luxurious fabric. The brand recently issued a press release concerning its new line of activewear, which is infused with CBD.

The collection is of limited-edition and will be released on the market on August 22, 2019. According to the press release, the brand is also launching an exclusive pre-sale today. The products have been designed by designers with over 60 years of combined experience. The fabrics used are infused with high-quality CBD, which may be able to help with recovery and wellness from the start of one’s fitness routine.

The press release indicates that the collection is limited-edition and is limited to the quantity that is currently available. Additional collections with new pieces will launch in October. Most of the inspiration for the products come from the streets of New York City, and the products are comprised of sports bras, leggings, shorts, jackets, and bodysuits.

Katrina Petrillo, the co-founder and chief creative officer at Acabada ProActiveWear shared in the press release

“Our variety of garments were designed with the active woman in mind, providing her the opportunity to not only workout in high-fashion styles, but also continue her day in luxurious fabrics that are breathable and move with her.”

Seth Baum, the CEO and co-founder also shared in the press release,

“While typical CBD products such as tinctures and edibles are growing exponentially in popularity, we began to envision a product that addressed health and wellness through a different lens. By physically infusing CBD into our garments, our product lives at the intersection of fashion, fitness, and wellness,”

The products offered in the line are infused with CBD by a process called microencapsulation. As for the CBD itself, it is free from THC, and it includes a protective coating. Much of the CBD is placed in strategic areas of the garment so that it aligns with specific muscle groups. When wearing the clothes, the CBD releases through the dermal layer and into the body.

Baum also shared in the press release,

“Just like CBD is infused in our activewear, the letters CBD are in our name aCaBaDa, Acabada comes from the Portuguese word for ‘finish,' Acabar, perfectly telling the story that our fabrics have been finished with CBD.”
