A Look at Nooro's Latest Launch of New CBD Nootropic Snack Bars

.

Nooro invites you to align your mind with its CBD and nootropic-based bars. The fastest selling snack in Planet Organic has added more flavors. The neuro-nutrition brand, Nooro, started with a pilot CBD snack bar with gingko and maca. It was the fastest selling snack to launch in ten years and it is still the biggest selling SKU at Planet Organic. The CBD element is on trend and it is effective. Having nootropics combined with CBD is what got consumers really excited. This caused the company to try and keep up with demand.

.

As of this summer, Nooro released two new bars including banana and cinnamon that contains the amino acid theanine. This is said to help prevent the brain from producing an anxious response to stressful situations. Their second flavor is cacao and coconut and it includes tyrosine, an amino acid that is said to improve alertness, attention and focus. Within the next two to three months, three more flavors are expected. They are hoping to provide a product that is not overly sweet.

.

One flavor they are working on is mango and chili. They are having difficulty as mango is often very sweet and contains sulphites. They have developed a testing program where they send flavors to people unwrapped and ask for feedback. While the bars are also stocked in Nature Intended, Revital and a number of independents, Furlong has his eye on taking Nooro national – revealing they are in discussions with a large high street chain that sells health products, as well as a big retailer.

.

In terms of nootropics, there are many drinks, but putting an effective dose of CBD into an edible product has been a challenge. Nooro is an advocate for the potential of CBD and believes it ought to be bio available and in certain quantities. Using nootropics gives an edge and they have designed an entire product around brain health and cognitive function. The idea was born in America where college students were looking for a competitive edge. Nooro has taken this idea and made a product out of it.

.

They are set on decreasing the sugar, increasing the fiber and using effective amounts of plant-based extracts including CBD, maca, and tyrosine. They have taken a holistic approach on healthy eating for the mind. Nooro is currently investigating plant-based nootropics to include in future products. They are also mindful of being transparent and not making too many claims. The new consumer is more knowledgeable, reads ingredients, and is concerned about wellness. Furlong stated that Nooro has four new products set to launch in quarter one next year too, but not all for the snacking category although they will be in the same aisle.
