2019 CBD Innovation Award Given to GrowthCell Global for Oligopeptide and Bioavailability

- There was a total of 40 nominees for the CBD Innovation Award.
Almost two weeks ago, the Inaugural World CBD Awards came to Barcelona, Spain. However, the event made history, as both the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner were the “first of its kind” to bring attention to companies with clean, ethical, and innovative practices. These efforts coincided with the general theme of the event – “We Can Do Better.”
GrowthCell Global Corp., as reported by PR Newswire, received major recognition at the event, as the company was presented with the CBD Innovation Award. This award is bestowed upon the recipient for their creative entrepreneurial and innovative practices that have brought benefits and positive attention to the CBD industry.
Andrew Serafini, the program chair for the World CBD Awards, explained that the ultimate goal of this event is to “spotlight and award those organizations that have ethically advanced products and innovations within the global CBD sector.” Serafini stated that the advancement of this work in a safe way is critical to the growth for the unregulated industry, which he believes that GrowthCell Global exemplifies, due to “their next-level progress and advancements.”
The judges for this award included:
- Christina DiArcangelo Puller, the CEO and founder of Affinity Bio Partners and Affinity Patient Advocacy
- Rene Serafini, the president of Global Health Brands
- Michael Patterson, the CEO of US Cannabis Pharmaceutical Research and Development
The 40 nominees, spread amongst 13 categories, were judged against several standardized criteria.
The co-founder of GrowthCell Global Corp., Timothy Dunlap, believes that the industry itself is “over-crowded,” and they’ve always sought to stand out from the rest of the industry with their “patented innovative technology.” Dunlap added, “Our efforts to become a world leader in this space have been recognized by winning this award.”
GrowthCell uses a patented oligopeptide that is meant to improve CBD’s bioavailability, which is integrated into anti-aging remedies. It is the only brand to offer this active raw ingredient, and it integrates the substance into all of their cannabidiol, hemp, and cannabis products.
