Southern Hemp Marketplace (SHM) is the First-Ever Hemp Auction and Market
The Southern Hemp Marketplace (SHM), LLC., has announced that it will hold the first-ever International Hemp Auction and Market (IHAM) on November 19-21, 2019. The three-day event aims to host over a thousand hemp growers, processors, and traders to raise at least one million pounds.
Concurrently, the company plans to hold a Holiday Hemp and CBD (cannabidiol) Market to attract myriads of holiday shoppers to hundreds of retailers and wholesalers of organic hemp and CBD products. The two events will take place at the Williamson County Agricultural Expo Park in Franklin, Tenn.
Mark S. Case, CEO of SHM, said that the events would be of mutual benefit hemp growers seeking a fair-price market as well as processors who need large volumes of quality hemp. SHM will channel part of the proceeds generated to fund non-profit, non-biased political action that supports hemp legislation and regulation.
Conveniently, SHM has had the auction coincide with the harvest season and holiday shopping. More auction-oriented events are on SHM’s schedule while IHAM has planned to sell tickets of admission and registration of sellers, vendors, exhibitors, and buyers.
