Socati Moves from Generic CBD Products to Present Customizable Private Label Line

On Thursday, January 30, 2020, leading processor focusing on broad-spectrum hemp extracts, Socati Corp announced the launch of its new line of cannabinoids called the Private Label.

As per the press release, this line is a service that allows new and existing brands focused on delivering hemp-infused goods to create several innovative CBD-rich finished products with customizable ratios of minor cannabinoids such as CBG and CBN.

Speaking regarding this rather unique service is the CEO of Socati, Josh Epstein who shared that the Private Label line is their way of attracting those who either want something different in comparison to the typically offered hemp products or to simply explore the different cannabinoids that exist. He further added that businesses can be watchful:

“Brands and product innovators can respond quickly to changing consumer tastes and market trends, developing and launching high specification, quality products at speed and scale without tying up their existing manufacturing capacity or setting up their own costly infrastructure.”

What was Socati like prior to the Private Label?

In a recent interview with Food Navigator USA, Socati’s Chief Revenue Officer, Mark Elfenbein, shared what the company’s main operation was and how Private Label sprung into existence.

According to Elfenbein, Socati was working on finding ways to deliver rare cannabinoids to the market. A project that spanned roughly a year, the firm released the importance “specific minor cannabinoids” played. As for how it all started, here’s as per his words:

“We’ve been getting lots of requests for finished products. A lot of brands really need you to do the entire product for them, where they’re really just on the marketing and distribution scale. As a result, we’ve jumped in now with the capability to produce a host of different products.”

Given that 2019 was a popular year, especially for the likes of cannabigerol, CBG, Elfenbein anticipates that a similar trend will be witnessed this year for cannabinol, CBN. He further added:

“Instead of providing a very generic, me-too product, we think there’s a lot of value in providing products that our brands can have the ability to customize minor cannabinoid ratios.”

What does the Private Label line entail?

Crystallized Flavored Powder

Each package will contain 10mg of whatever cannabinoid one chooses. That said, consumers can choose between six different fruit flavors derived from natural sources.

Gummies

The gummies will be vegan and organic. makes the gummies under the Private Label unique is that the decision-making power of everything from the shape to the size of jar rests in consumers hands.

Tinctures

The base of the tinctures is said to contain grape seed, hemp and MCT oil. As for the maximum strength, nothing regarding this has been shared thus far. This could be something that is discussed during a scheduled consultation.

Other types of products include softgels, pressed tablets and two-piece capsules.

Some things that require emphasis include the fact that Socati products carry non-detectable levels of THC, are free of harmful metals and solvents, have been third-party tested and everything from start to finish either entails organic and/or natural components.
