Hempure Becomes First-Ever CBD Company to Be Included into Built Consumer Product Accelerator

Hempure, based out of Ashland, OR, will be the only CBD brand participating in Built Oregon’s First Consumer Product Accelerator. The program is a 16-week long program that began at the end of June 2019. It is a non-profit consumer product accelerator and one of the only of its kind in the US. The goal is to offer mentorship and support to participating companies in finance, operations, branding, sustainability, and more. The program is free of charge and they do not take a percentage of the company like some other programs do.

Built Oregon is also uniquely focused on consumer products whereas most other programs focus on technology start-up companies. Only 15 companies were chosen out of a total of 75 applications. Hempure CBD was the only CBD company that was selected. It is also one of eight companies chosen that are entirely female-founded and run. The companies will have access to knowledge as well as a community of over 100 industry experts to help them develop and grow. Built Oregon intends on helping these companies so that the state will eventually become a leader in consumer product innovation and development.
