According to a new advertisement circulating the internet, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have teamed up to release a revolutionary CBD product.
Unfortunately for fans, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have never endorsed or released any CBD or cannabis product. The advertisement is a lie from start to finish. Much like the detailed guide we wrote on CBD and Shark Tank, all of these cannabidiol oil fashioned products should largely be considered a scam unless proven otherwise.
The advertisement, found online at random websites and other sources, claims that Dr. Phil and Doctor Oz recently “announced a project they have been working on for years….and while America is applauding their creation, the pharmaceutical industry [is] digging for a lawsuit.”
That product is called something universal, like CBD Oil or CBD Gummies, although the name is likely to change as the ad gets spread around the internet. You can buy a bottle of the CBD product (with an undisclosed dosage) for around $70.
The fake page goes on to quote famous TV doctors Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil, who take turns describing the merits of cannabidiol (CBD).
“Although current companies have been selling CBD, the type of CBD is not potent enough to have real, life-changing results. Dr. Phil and I hired a team of 10 well-regarded doctors and scientists to find a solution to this problem. And what they found was 10x better than we ever imagined.”
Another famous as-seen-on-TV doctor, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, is also quoted on the fake webpage. He describes CBD as “hands-down the most health-conscious solution for older men and women.”
The CBD product from Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz was reportedly so effective that, immediately after launch, the pair received calls from drug giants Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson “offering to immediately buy out their new technology.”
Heroically, the pair of TV doctors turned down the multimillion dollar offers from the pharmaceutical giants. Instead, they chose to offer the miracle product to the American public at a cheap price.
The moment the pair offered their CBD product for sale online, it sold out within 15 minutes. Despite the fact that the product is “constantly” sold out, you can easily purchase it online today with no issue.
It’s a good story – but it’s entirely fake.
What Are the Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz CBD Gummies?
The webpage describes how Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have teamed up to launch a product called CBD Gummies.
Again, Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have never endorsed or created any type of CBD product. They have not made a CBD oil, nor have they endorsed any CBD gummies.
Despite the fact that “CBD Gummies” is a fake product, the webpage selling the product is filled with endorsements from happy customers. There are pictures of couples claiming CBD Gummies cured every ailment, for example.
“Both my wife and I struggled from anxiety and depression symptoms. We tried everything. We decided to reach out, and got a sample of CBD Gummies and the product is a miracle worker. We couldn’t be happier!”
There are even pictures of famous Hollywood actors who claim to have cured their aches and pains with the miraculous CBD Gummies. Sam Elliott, for example, describes CBD Gummies as “the absolute CURE for aching muscles on the red carpet,” according to the fake website.
Garth Brooks also chimes in with his thoughts on CBD Gummies, claiming that “all my chronic pain has vanished” after taking the CBD product.
There’s also a string of Facebook comments from fake users describing the CBD product as a cure-all.
How Do the CBD Gummies Purportedly Work?
The Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz CBD Gummies purportedly have powerful effects on the human body. The webpage describes how “CBD Gummies has been found to have a positive impact on key body functions including – neurological, physical, and psychological.”
Some of the stated benefits include:
- Reduces chronic pain
- Supports joint health
- Reduces anxiety
- Reduces headaches
- Reduces blood sugar
- Supports cognitive health
- Antioxidant support
Yes, the product literally claims to “reduce blood sugar” – instead of claiming to support healthy blood sugar levels. Reducing blood sugar is not necessarily a good thing for diabetics.
Dr. Oz Has Never Filmed a CBD Episode
The fake webpage claims that Dr. Oz discussed CBD Gummies and the health benefits of CBD in his “most-watched episode of 2019”.
On that episode, Dr. Oz gave away CBD Gummies to members of the audience. Ever since that episode, CBD Gummies have “cultivated a huge following” across the internet.
Of course, that episode of The Dr. Oz Show does not exist. Dr. Oz has never filmed an episode about cannabidiol or even cannabis for that matter.
To the fake website’s credit, it does not claim that Dr. Phil has aired an episode on CBD.
How to Order CBD Gummies
There are plenty of good CBD gummies available today online through retailers like Amazon and offline through local retailers and health food stores.
However, the specific “CBD Gummies” product from Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz is not one of the good CBD Gummies products.

How Does the CBD Gummies Scam Work?
If you click through the fake webpage and try to buy the CBD Gummies from Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz, you’ll get taken to a sales page.
That sales page asks for your personal information and contact info. This is where the scam starts:
Stolen Personal Information: You enter your personal information at the top of the page. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, however, you’ll see a warning stating that you agree to receive automated marketing texts. You can reply STOP to stop these messages.
High Prices: CBD Gummies is a real product that does exist. However, the products are priced significantly higher than competing products. The purchase page doesn’t even disclose how many capsules are in each bottle, nor does it list the dosage.
Low Doses of CBD: All legitimate CBD products disclose dosages upfront. CBD Gummies, however, refuses to disclose its dosages. We assume there’s limited CBD – or no CBD whatsoever – inside the gummies.
Hidden Shipping Fees: In the fine print, you’ll learn that your CBD Gummies order comes with a shipping and handling fee of $7.95.
Dishonest Marketing: The fake website goes as far to replicate the website of the real Dr. Phil show’s website. There’s a copyright notice from CBS Television, for example, and a “Be in the Audience” link.
Hidden Insurance Fee: At the bottom of the sales page, you’ll find fine print that states, “Please include First Class Herbalist CBD Shipping Insurance for $4.95”. The box beside the text has already been checked.
Limited Refund Options: CBD Gummies claims to offer a 60 day money back guarantee. In reality, however, this guarantee is difficult to claim. You’ll need to ship the unopened product back to a faraway address. You will not receive a full refund, and you won’t receive a refund on any opened bottles.
Stolen Credit Card Information: The CBD Gummies website does use HTTPS to secure its online credit card entry form, and the HTTPS certificate is active. However, when dealing with shady merchants online, there’s always the potential for your credit card information to be stolen.
Who’s Behind the Dr. Phil and DR. Oz CBD Scam?
The Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil scam CBD website links to a product called CBD Gummies. That product is made by a company called 4Bush Holdings, LLC (or at least that’s the company name listed on the website).
4Bush Holdings, LLC appears to be based at the following address in Utah:
318 W 250 S, Kaysville, UT 84037
4Bush Holdings appears to be a legitimately-registered CBD company.
In June 2019, however, 4Bush Holdings, LLC was sued by a Portland-based coffee company called Coffee By Design. 4Bush was selling CBD coffee under the name CBD Coffee. Coffee By Design holds the trademark for the term “CBD” in the coffee industry. The lawsuit is ongoing.
4Bush Holdings, LLC appears to sell low-quality CBD products that capitalize on the term “CBD” without actually containing much CBD. The products do not seem to disclose dosages, for example, and they’re marketing with basic, keyword-rich terms like “CBD Coffee” or “CBD Gummies”.
It’s possible that 4Bush Holdings, LLC is responsible for the scammy Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz CBD website.
However, it’s also possible that the website was created by a rogue affiliate wanting to sell as much product as possible.
Dr. Oz and CBD
Dr. Mehmet Oz has never endorsed a specific CBD product, nor has he ever created a CBD product.
However, on a 2018 episode, Dr. Oz did discuss the merits of CBD. At the time, CBD was a booming industry in the health space, and it fell right within Dr. Oz’s niche.

Aside from these two basic connections, however, Dr. Oz is not connected to CBD in any major way.
On a handful of episodes, Dr. Oz has also discussed medical marijuana and the merits of it. He has talked about addiction issues linked to marijuana, for example, and explained how medical marijuana may relieve chronic pain.
Dr. Phil and CBD
Dr. Phil, meanwhile, has never discussed CBD on his show in any way, shape, or form.
Dr. Phil has, however, occasionally talked about cannabis. In a September 2018 episode, for example, Dr. Phil had a 23-year old on his show who claimed he was addicted to marijuana.
In a 2017 episode, Dr. Phil had a teenager on his show who claimed to smoke marijuana daily and didn’t care about the risks. On this show, Dr. Phil discussed the physical effects marijuana can have on the developing teen brain.
Aside from these two limited connections to cannabis, however, Dr. Phil has never featured marijuana or CBD in any major way on his show.

Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz have never created any type of CBD product, nor have they endorsed any specific CBD products on their respective shows.
When you see ads for Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz CBD products online, you can assume the product is a scam. If Dr. Oz or Dr. Phil ever do endorse a CBD product on their show, it will be huge news for the CBD industry and cannabis community.
