According to a recent press release, DetectaChem has released a new test pouch that has the ability to differentiate between THC and CBD, and to provide insight into legal concentration limits. DetectaChem describes itself on its website as a company that manufactures handheld, intelligent and easy-to-operate technology that is easily deployable.

The new technology developed is in response to state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies that have been looking for a reliable and accurate method to field test, according to the press release. The Test Pouch works with the MobileDetect App, and together, the technology can provide law enforcement officers with automated information quickly and that is accurate. The technology has been engineered and developed specifically with input from law enforcement agencies, and it has been tested on many CBD and THC products as well. With the technology, those using it can determine whether the THC level is above the 0.3% legal limit.

Travis Kisner, the Chief Operating Officer at DetectaChem shared in the press release that the company prides itself on delivering reliable and powerful products that can aid federal, state, and local authorities and that can make the world safer.

The product is currently available on the company’s website, and the MobileDetectApp can be found in the Apple and Android app stores.
