Cosmoprof Convention 2019 Showcases Incredible CBD-Based Beauty Products
Thousands of beauty fanatics and beauty companies are the taking over the strip for North America’s largest beauty conference.
This year, the convention brought over 40,000 beauty enthusiasts from different parts of the world to Mandalay Bay.
In a bid to learn and strategize, the Frias sisters attended the previous two Cosmoprof conventions. This time, the sisters returned with their booth and the newly-launched Afro-Latina cosmetic line dubbed Luna Magic Beauty
Regarding this, one of the sisters said that they learned much from the Cosmoprof Bologna and the Cosmoprof 2018. The conference was also an incredible opportunity for the sisters to gain confidence.
This shows how the convention gives beauty brands and companies a networking opportunity and a chance to showcase their products. The conference also keeps people updated with the latest industry trends.
2019 is the first year that hemp and CBD have been heavily represented at Cosmoprof, with products ranging from conditioners, shampoos, lip balms, and face lotions among others surfacing.
Companies that do not have CBD or hemp-based products such as Hunter 1114 say that they are considering the idea.
Derek Du Chesne together with Eco-Gen Labs, one of the companies that attended the convention to train beauty lines that are looking to add CBD to their products, say that this new wave does not show any sign of slowing down.
Du Chesne explained that being a new industry, people want to add CBD in their products, but do not understand how to add it – either in the form of powder or oil.
Another thing that stood out on the showroom this year was the multicultural section.
The section was introduced in 2014 and focusses on natural skin and hair care for different ethnic groups. This year, the section gained more traction when compared to the previous years.
