The Herb Somm is a cannabis blog and lifestyle brand. According to the platform, its founder, Jamie Evans, is a “host, and writer specializing in cannabis, CBD, food, recipes, wine, and the canna-culinary world.”

It adds,

Therein, Evans answered a number of questions, one of which included sharing about her company and her inspiration for it. Evans stated,

Since launching in 2017, a critical part of my business has been educating others on how to approach cannabis with a specific focus on terpenes, which are the organic compounds that give cannabis its aromas and flavors.” She added, “I love educating others using terpenes because it helps people better understand cannabis on a deeper level, allowing them to discover that cannabis is a complex plant that offers not only therapeutic benefits but also a broad spectrum of smells and tastes, much like wine grapes.”

She also shared her goals for the next few years, which include continuing to educate others on how they can add cannabis to their dining experience, and working on legalizing cannabis cuisine by working with regulators and other trade associations.
