Heady Vermont to Launch its First Print Media Publication, The New England Cannabis Guide
Heady Vermont is a digital platform and community that focuses on cannabis culture and helping to bring about policy reform. The platform recently issued a press release announcing that it will be launching a print publication called The New England Cannabis Guide.
According to the press release, it will be an annual publication feature full-color and high-quality prints. Heady New England is the associated digital media. The print will function as a guide as well, as it will include cannabis-friendly business listings, policy information, state-by-state legalization amid federal prohibition of cannabis, and cannabis etiquette tips from Lizzie Post, who is the co-president of the Emily Post Institute. She also authored Higher Etiquette. The magazine will cost $4.20, and will be available for wholesale distribution.
Kathryn Blume, the communications director and editor-in-chief of the publication, shared in the press release,
“Ultimately, our intention – both in Vermont and around New England – is to help build and support a cohesive regional industry dedicated to cannabis reform based in equity and justice.”
She added,
“we want to promote locally, lovingly, organically produced craft products to weed enthusiasts everywhere!”
The publication is also holding a launch party called Harvest Farm Jam on September 28, 2019. The launch will be at Bordertown Farm, and tickets are $20 for the general public. Heady Vermont members pay $10. The launch party is supported by a number of sponsors, including Sarabia Holistic, Vermont Hempicurean, Coyote River Hemp Company, and MRC Labs.
