Vermont Statehouse Garden Flower Beds Found with Nearly Three Dozen Cannabis Plants in Them
Reportedly, 34 cannabis plants had been planted in Vermont Statehouse’s garden, in Montpelier, Vermont.
There is no intent to test the plants, either, Vermont Capital Police Chief Matthew Romei told CNN. He also shared that authorities “have no thoughts on why someone would plant it.” He also shared with NBC 5, “If there is a typical Vermont story this is probably it.”
According to a news report by the Burlington Free Press, Vermont legalized adult use of recreational marijuana, but “keep in mind: Marijuana is still illegal under federal law.”
