The use of CBD has many benefits, though evidence is still being created by researchers. Still, one of the most common uses for CBD is in the treatment of pain. While many companies offer digestible tinctures that can help, Alpha Therapeutics LLC has decided to launch their own CBD healing balms, according to reports from StreetInsider.com.

The new topical balm can be applied at the site of the pain, and is meant to help with acute pain, whiplash, fibromyalgia, compression fracture pain, and other discomforts. CEO Geoff Dada of Alpha Therapeutics LLC stated, “We’re excited to offer another cannabidiol (CBD) product, which is a topical product for relieving pain. We are a pharmaceutical CBD manufacturer and distributor dedicated to producing innovative CBD products and educating physicians and other healthcare providers about potential benefits CBD may give their patients.”

The topical balm is just one of the CBD products offered by Alpha Therapeutics. They presently offer a tincture for sublingual consumption, an organic massage oil with sunflower oil and jojoba oil, and even a CBD oil for pets.

To ensure that this formula meets the necessary standards, Alpha Therapeutics aims to collaborate with their clients to comply with a certain level of product development. Up until recently, the only CBD product legally permissible was that of Epidiolex, the anti-epilepsy drug. However, the establishment of the Farm Bill last year made hemp-based CBD legal to produce.
