Ionic Brands Corp to Acquire British’s Historical Pipe Whisperer, Astleys of London for $7.8Million

It has been unofficially revealed by Benzinga that cannabis firm, Ionic Brands Corp will be acquiring a piece of British history for roughly $7.8 million. More specifically, the former will be acquiring pipe maker, Astleys of London.

This endeavor will definitely serve as a stepping stone for Ionic Brands Corp, as Astleys of London is known for their pipes as early as 1862 – the same year where events including the American Civil War, publishing of Les Misérables, the invention of the chronograph and other notable ones took place.

As per the claims made, Astleys of London has always set the bar high when it comes to standards and quality. All their pipes have been designed for smoking purposes as well as potential collectibles – which makes sense considering the Viennese masters behind the quality, resulting in high-end prices.

While luxurious pipes have long existed, the CEO of Ionic Brands, John Gorst, believes that it has become more apparent in today’s society, especially for cannabis. He further noted that the acquisition of Astleys of London is reflective of the type of products and goals Ionic Brand Corps is founded on. Here’s as per his quotes:

“As a high-end, heritage brand, Astleys of London aligns well with our goal of proving elevated vape experiences for our customers […] We look forward to continuing to deliver sophisticated products on an international level and ushering in the modern day of cannabis consumption.”

Ionic Brands Corp. has definitely been putting in a lot of work to ensure that quality meets consumers, not to mention transparency and trust as well. Amidst the different cannabis providers out there, sometimes differentiating good from bad becomes difficult. This hasn’t fazed Ionic Brands Corp as they have since paired their Ionic Certified Clean program with Lucid Green platform reports The Seed Investor.

Gorst previously shared that “Certified Clean” implies enhanced quality check that far exceeds the State’s standards. In particular, he was quoted saying:

“Our pairing of Certified Clean with Lucid Green allows IONIC Brands to provide consumers with highest quality products, with the best curated experiences. This testing ensures that we deliver to our customers the safest and cleanest products possible.”

With quality in check using this said certification and the acquisition of Astleys of London, Ionic Brands Corp is sure to make a great impression to cannabis consumers.
