FDA Certifies Elixicure CBD-Infused Topical Cream Remedy for Pain Relief
  • This is the first time that the FDA has ever certified an over-the-counter topical drug with CBD.
  • The product is the result of the efforts of both Honest Globe and Elixicure.

The Food and Drug Administration has taken their time on establishing legality over the use of CBD in supplements and food products. However, in a press release with PR Newswire, it appears that the FDA has officially certified the over-the-counter drug registration for Elixicure. The process took an entire year to work through, but the CBD-Infused Pain Relief products by Elixicure finally secured the certification they needed, according to Chief of Business Development Yaniv Kotler. This is a historical moment for the CBD industry, as the substance now becomes the first (and only) over-the-counter topical drug with CBD to be registered and certified.

The pain relief cream is non-addictive and completely natural, formulated for its ability to eliminate inflammation, swelling, pain, and soreness. Within this product, consumers will absorb CBD through the skin. While CBD offers many of the therapeutic effects created with THC, the substance doesn’t give the intoxicating effect that is found in THC. Kotler stated,

“We are ecstatic to announce that Elixicure’s Registration has been certified by the FDA. This is a major milestone in our commitment in our commitment to quality and offering customers healthier options for pain relief using effective natural products, as an alternative to opioids and other dangerous pharmaceuticals.”

Honest Globe is the manufacturer of the Elixicure drug, though they are known for their creation of cosmetic, health, and beauty products. All of their formulas are made with the industry-standard manufacturing processes, using naturally-derived ingredients. Both Honest Globe and Elixicure focus on complying with the Good Manufacturing Practices set out by their respective industries, using their quality management solutions.

Kotler expressed that the trust of their customers is “important” to them. Setting themselves apart from the rest of the industry, he commented that the business model established “has always been driven by quality and compliance,” which they maintain with “3rd party certifiers.” They also test with each batch to maintain quality.

As Elixicure has also been certified by Banned Substance Control Group, the product can be safely used by athletes at every level of competition.
