Cresco Labs Intends to Place a New CBD Dispensary Near Chicago Cubs Stadium, Wrigley Field

Cresco Labs, based in Chicago and operating multi-state cannabis operations, is considering making a big move. Mugglehead reports that Cresco Labs is looking to move one of its medical marijuana dispensaries near Wrigley Field.

The City of Chicago has received an application for the company. The application is to move MedMar Lakeview Medical, a pot shop, to a location near Wrigley Field.

Last month, Governor Pritzker signed a new law permitting medical marijuana dispensaries to also sell recreational marijuana. In an article by the Chicago Tribune, Jason Erkes, Cresco’s spokesman, shared that Cresco has applied with the state to sell recreational marijuana at five of its dispensaries. If the new and proposed location does go through, then the company may be able to benefit from the high-traffic area.
