Choom to Acquire Ninetails Cannabis as a Way to Expand Itself Within the Canadian Market

On Tuesday, August 13, 2019, emerging cannabis firm, Choom announced the signing of a purchase agreement with Whitehorse-based, cannabis retail store, Ninetails Cannabis Inc. Once the acquisition takes place, the latter will be rebranded as a Choom store.

The CEO and President of Choom, Chris Bogart expressed enthusiasm in this ongoing endeavor, adding how this move signifies the company’s expansion within the Canadian market. As per the CEO, the reason for having chosen the Canadian territory stems from the fact that its cannabis market is still quite novice compared to other parts of Canada.

In particular, Bogart said:

“We have identified the Yukon as a largely underserved cannabis market opportunity which falls in line with our aggressive expansion strategy across Canada.”
