First-Ever Plant-Based CBD Milk Launched by Good Hemp, Bringing Product to UK
- The new CBD milk will be released in stores in November 2019 with other variations to follow.
- Each serving of plant-based milk contains 7.5 mg of CBD.
The UK CBD market is already worth well over $250 million, according to David Shaw of Good Hemp. With the high interest of consumers in CBD, Shaw and his team have developed a unique beverage with the substance – a plant-based milk.
Shaw stated, “Hemp milk is a natural pairing for CBD, also hemp derived, and together they create a delicious milk which can be consumed by dairy and non-dairy drinkers to enhance their overall wellbeing.”
The CBD Barista Seed Milk can be added to nearly anything that consumers would regularly use milk for. A recent article by Beverage Daily suggested that the foamy liquid is ideal for a good coffee, only offering six ingredients for the delicious beverage. One of those ingredients is the 60 mg of full-spectrum CBD, which means that consumers get about 7.5 mg of CBD with each serving.
CBD has been used to promote better sleep and a more balanced mood, as well as reducing anxiety and relieving pain. The source of this extract, hemp, is a natural, carbon negative crop, which uses the seeds to create a plant-based liquid that is high in both omega-3 and omega-6.
Consumers can expect the Good Hemp CBD Barista Seed Milk to enter stores by November. Later in the year, the company will also release the CBD Creamy Seed Milk and the CBD Chocolate Hemp Milk.
