Green Bee Botanicals, a San Francisco-based indie cannabis beauty startup, has won a clean beauty award in the best serum category. In an international competition known as the 2020 Dirty Thinker’s Choice Awards that involved other well-known brands like Whole Foods, Sephora, Bloomingdales, and Ulta, the company beat them and took the top position.

Think Dirty is an internationally established beauty program that commits to educating beauty product consumers about toxins found in personal care and skin care products. They host an annual event to celebrate beauty brands that stand out in product safety and transparency.

Green Bee Botanicals was chosen by over 143,000 Think Dirty Instagram followers and 3.9 million Think Dirty app uses, along with tons of other winners. The Think Dirty program also runs on an app capable of tracking over 4500 trusted brands and over 1.76 million beauty products.

Green Bee Botanicals has added this year’s Think Dirty clean beauty award to its many other awards, including the California statewide Oakland cup best-renewing serum award and the best brightening eye cream from the best topical category in the emerald cup.

Green Bee Botanicals CEO Bridget May says they are on the same page with Think Dirty to help clean the beauty industry. Happy they won the award, Green Bee’s co-founder Kim Howard says they are always committed to transparency and creating clean and safe products.

The company’s four main flagship products, including massage body oil, two face serums, and eye cream, are cruelty-free, organic, and vegan. These products are made with full-spectrum cannabis featuring various cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids and are offered only in legally approved cannabis dispensaries.

The company has plans to introduce a brand new hemp-based CBG & CBD skincare product line in early 2021. The skincare product line will include face toner, cleanser, and moisturizer. All these products will be offered for sale on the company’s official website and trusted retailers throughout the United States.
