Highlands Naturals to Focus on CBD Business as Chief Executive Departs Company
Robert Price, the founder, chairman, and CEO of Highlands Naturals is reportedly leaving the company as it starts to turn to a developing a CBD side of its business.
The company, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Zoetic, launched a new “Chill” brand that were made available to consumers since June 18, 2019. According to the press release announcing the new product line,
“Chill (www.thechillway.com) is a new range of CBD (cannabidiol) products, initially comprising hemp flower and CBD infused herbal smokables. It will soon be extended to chew pouches. The products will be made available to buy in 18 Schrader Oil convenience and gas stores, as previously announced, with the delivery of the first products being made next week. Additionally, the products will be made available to buy in the United States on the Chill website shortly.”
Price appeared to be positive about the product, stating
“To make delivery of our first products for retail within three months of commencing operations is an extraordinary achievement and is a testament to the hard work of all of the team at Highlands and Zoetic. We are optimistic about our early sales and will update investors in due course.”
