The CBD market has been expanding across the world as researchers discover all of the benefits that this product provides. Many companies have chosen to embark on their own path in the industry, like Nature’s Sunshine. According to reports from GlobeNewswire, the company made an announcement on September 6th that they would be getting involved in the CBD market by developing their own line of hemp-based CBD products.
The Hughes Center for Research and Innovation has developed multiple proprietary products for the company, offering whole-spectrum hemp products with nature CBD. The goal of these products is ultimately to deliver targeted phytocannabinoids to the receptors in the body, which they believe will set them apart from other companies. Scientists and researchers with the Hughes Center have also used the expertise of the company, regarding natural hers, essential oils, and phyto-nutrients that they already use in their herbal supplements.
Terrence Moorehead, the President and Chief Executive Officer, expressed that the company was looking forward to their entry into the CBD market. He added,
“What’s more, consumers know they can trust Nature’s Sunshine because of our high standards, in-depth quality testing, and award-winning production. We believe Nature’s Sunshine is uniquely qualified to take the fast-growing CBD industry in the right direction and offer consumers the best, most reliable products on the market.”
Nature’s Sunshine aims to release their CBD products across multiple channels of distribution, though they plan to focus on traceability and improving sourcing. As a result, Nature’s Sunshine is able to deliver active compounds to improve performance and increase transparency beyond what other companies offer.
