About Green Mountain CBD (Now Sunsoil)

According to VermontBiz, Green Mountain CBD has transitioned its name to Sunsoil.  Jason Goldstein, the company's co-founder, explained to the news outlet that, “Despite the name transition, our mission remains the same: bring the most good to the most people by increasing the accessibility and availability of CBD. We're creating better access through a more attainable price-point while not sacrificing quality.”

Quality and Accessibility

The Sunsoil website indicates that it is “obsessed with quality and accessibility” and identifies the following qualities:

Organic

Concerning the organic quality, the Sunsoil website indicates that its land, facilities, and primary ingredients “are all USDA certified organic.” This may include the hemp, as the news article above indicates that the company recently received”USDA Organic certification for its hemp.”  Choosing products with organic hemp is a personal choice and consideration when looking at products and brands.

Third-Party Lab Testing

As for third-party lab testing, whose purpose is to identify information such as potency and product composition, the brand's website indicates that it is “setting a standard for testing–every product is tested with third party independent labs.”

Seed to Shelf Process

Sunsoil uses a “seed to shelf” process, and an informational chart on the process can be viewed on the brand's website. In addition, as for the extraction process, it identifies that it uses a heat, pressure, and coconut oil to extract CBD.

Product Options

The brand offers several product options, two of which are as follows:

  • Chocolate Mint Drops

Sunsoil Chocolate Mint Drops feature 10mg of CBD per 1ml serving. Per the product webpage, it comes in chocolate mint flavor, is made with full-spectrum whole plant CBD extract, USDA certified organic hemp, and is third-party lab tested by ISO-accredited labs. In addition, it appears that the lab results are on the webpage as well so that individuals can learn more.
