If there is one answer to all bacterial infections, that would be antibiotics. Antibiotics are a go-to medicine that help kill bacteria which causing a multitude of illnesses. However, with the widespread use of antibiotics, doctors are starting to be concerned with its effects on people.

One growing concern in the medical industry is the resistance of some bacteria to antibiotics. Take note, these bacteria are the same ones that are being treated with antibiotics. But there is an alternative to SSRIs. Several clinical studies have shown that CBD oil and cannabidiol are great alternatives to SSRIs. They have anti-anxiety properties that help manage anxiety disorders without the trouble of getting side effects. More than that, it works by interacting with the production of serotonin in the brain. CBD interacts with the cannabinoid type-1 receptor to reduce the effects of anxiety in individuals.

In an investigation conducted in 2011, a group of individuals were given CBD oil prior to giving a stimulus that will trigger anxiety. The study showed that compared to the control group, the group given with CBD oil had lower stress levels ^[24] and controlled serotonin production. Bipolar disorder is a psychological disorder that has captured the interest of a lot of people. Aside from the fact that attitudes and personalities sway from one side to another, bipolar disorder differs from one person to another. Some terms used to refer to bipolar disorder are manic depressive illness and bipolar affective disorder.

At first, CBD studies showed inconclusive findings on how effective it is in treating bipolar disorders. However, more recent clinical investigations showed the effectiveness of CBD in managing bipolar conditions without the side effects that traditional medicines ^[38] give. To add to that, a study conducted in 2005 showed that CBD gives anti-anxiety benefits that are helpful for those who have both bipolar and anxiety disorders.

Another clinical investigation of CBD and bipolar disorders^[39] was published in the Journal of Psychiatry and Neuroscience. This investigation proves that those who have been given marijuana with large amounts of CBD for medical purposes are able to have reduced effects of bipolar disorder.

Cancer has always been a threat to the lives of so many people. Rich or poor, young or old, cancer doesn’t choose anyone. And what makes cancer harder to deal with is that it carries with it a variety of symptoms that bring people to a lot of pain.
