Sigur Rós and VONA to Make High-Grade CBD Tinctures WAKE and SLEEP

Sigur Rós, the Icelandic psychedelic music group and Vona, an Icelandic CBD company, have teamed up to create new CBD tinctures that will be called Sleep and Wake. These 2 CBD tinctures formulas are made with organic, premium hemp that Vona cultivates and handpicks the seeds used in the new CBD products. Each bottle contains 1000 mg of CBD. Sleep will be a tincture for relaxation and feeling recharged, whereas Wake will enhance energy levels and improve concentration. Here’s what Jónsi from Sigur Rós had to say about the project:

“It’s like with music, a scent can move you, and you don’t exactly know why, because it’s invisible. It’s like pure alchemy. It’s an open platform for experimentation and discovery, and the more you mix, the better results you’ll probably get.”

According to the Sigur Rós website, its products are made from “craft organic hemp and grown from hand-picked seed.”

What Is Vona All About?

Vona says that it’s “a collective of artists, farmers, researchers, and formulators, who are experts in the CBD field… In Icelandic, Vona loosely means “to hope.” As the world spins ever faster, our collective hope is for a better life: healthier, less stressful, more benevolent and inspiring, for others and ourselves. Vona was created specifically to address those aims.”

One of the company’s research and development team members, Wilfred Hurst, mentioned that Jónsi “genuinely loves learning, experimenting, and creating. Each brainstorming session, he wants to learn the deeper how and why.”

There Are Many Celebrity Brands

This venture is not the first for Jónsi; he has been using CBD for ten years now to treat his sleep problems. Back in 2017, he joined the CBD luxury brand Lord Jones to promote the Sigurberry CBD gumdrops. Since then, the musician realized that art and cannabis work very well together, so it makes complete sense that he wants to be involved in the Vona CBD tinctures project.

Other celebrities such as Snoop, Seth Rogen, Chelsea Handler, and Jane Fonda also have their cannabis brands sold in dispensaries.
