Civilized Coffee Releases New Full-Spectrum CBD Coffee Product Line

  • Civilized Coffee was established in 2017.
  • The three available coffee blends are offered in 10-ounce bags.

CBD, while the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not officially released regulations, is finding its way into many products.

The substance doesn’t have any specific quality requirements, but Civilized Coffee must believe that they have the remedy right with their new product line. According to a press release from PR Newswire, founders Mark Patterson and Jeff Norton have officially launched a full-spectrum CBD coffee. Patterson stated:

“Our expert roasting team has done an amazing job of selecting the right roasts and coffee (Tanzanian & South American) to match the flavor profile of the herbaceous CBD – creating a delicious coffee with all the benefits of CBD.”

The coffee comes in 10-ounce bags, offering:

  • Black, a robust blend (312 mg) – $19.99
  • Gold, a medium roast blend (156 mg) – $24.99
  • Silver, a mild roast (78 mg) – $34.99

CBD can be sourced from marijuana or hemp, though the CBD that the Farm Bill legalized has to specifically come from hemp for the limited amount of THC permissible by the government, which is 0.3%. Norton explained:

“I travel all over the country for our coffee business and there has been a lot of whispering on how big this market is going to be. We wanted to be ahead of the cur with our amazing CBD coffee.”

Civilized Coffee was originally created in 2017, ing as an ecommerce company, though it also sells to wholesale accounts like Hubba and Faire. The company has already established sales in 50 states, as well as the Caribbean, Europe, and military bases, offering Espresso Powder, Whole Bean Coffee, and Cold Brew Coffee.
