Cannalysis Receives $22 Million in Funding for Cannabis Testing Expansion

Regulations require that cannabis, hemp and CBD products have to be thoroughly lab tested before they are made available in the market for consumption. There are, however, many black-market products out in the market that have not been adequately tested. Consumers need to understand that there is great risk in consuming cannabinoids that have not been tested by licensed laboratories.

Cannabis-testing labs are currently regulated independently by the state governments hence causing inconsistencies in the quality and standard of cannabis products. CanLab, a CBD, hemp and cannabis testing laboratory network, has come up with a Universalized Ecosystem that will build on trust and transparency in the cannabis testing industry.

Cannalysis Lab, a California-based licensed and ISO/IEC 17025-accredited hemp-testing laboratory in the United States, has received a funding of $22 million from CanLab. With this capital, Cannalysis Lab will be in a position to expand its operations across the country to almost double its current size.

We are working together with Cannalysis to help hemp growers and CBD brands pass the ever-strict compliance regulations,” he added.

Through a combination of validated scientific methods, robotics and its proprietary technology, Cannalysis provides testing services that meet the state compliance standards.
