Athletes, on a consistent basis, have to deal with inflammation and soreness in their muscles, due to the level of physical activity that they participate in. Considering how effective CBD is in soothing these concerns, the launch of MotiveCBD is likely a welcomed event. According to a press release from PR Newswire, the CBD product line is meant to help athletes with their performance, recovery, and training.
The founder and CEO of MotiveCBD, Corey Poches, said,
“Motive was created by athletes for athletes and our goal is simply to keep people active and pain free. We provide a line of consistently-tested CBD products, formulated to fit any routine, that help athletes of all ages, shapes and sizes recover from sports-related conditions.”
The launch of MotiveCBD is happening in partnership with Bode Miller, Gabby Douglas, Nick Mangold, and Jess Lockwood, as well as WWE/ESPN announcer Charly Arnolt. Miller, a downhill skiing legend, retired from his sport in 2017, following the win of an Olympic gold medal, two overall World Cup titles, and six World Cup discipline titles. He’s easily become one of the most popular skiers in America of all time.
Miller stated,
“Every athlete is driven by something that moves them and pushes them forward when faced with adversity. I was injured frequently forward when faced with adversity. I was injured frequently throughout my career and took motivation from a lot of different things to help me recover and perform at the highest levels. Based on my experiences with CBD and recovery I absolutely would have included Motive in my daily routine.”
He clarifies that the brain is compatible with any athletic activities.
Douglas made history as the first African-American gymnastic to be named the Individual All-Around Champion in the Olympics. She also was the first American gymnast to win gold, scoring this achievement for both the individual all-around and team competitions at the same Olympic games.
She stated,
“My experiences in using CBD have led me to believe that I could have been more pain free throughout my gymnastics career if CBD had been allowed. I am glad that athletes across all Olympic sports will now have the opportunity to use these products and hopefully experience the benefits.”
Every product from the MotiveCBD line use high quality CBD which is then tested by a third-party lab to ensure that all safety and quality protocols are followed. Furthermore, these products are approved by the World Anti Doping Association for use, whether during or outside of competition.
Presently, the product line includes tinctures in four flavors ($49.99), fruit chews in three flavors ($49.99), mints in Fresh Mint ($24.99), sports cream in two scents ($59.99), capsules for muscles/joints or sleeping habits ($59.99), and toothpicks in three flavors ($24.99).
As a promotional tool during the launch, MotiveCBD is inviting athletes to take part in the #Motive8Challenge, allowing athletes to take part in the benefits of CBD. For a full eight-day routine, athletes can purchase a packed for $49.99, documenting their experience during this initial launch for the chance to get free products.
