CBD Winery Receives Purchase Order For 100 CBD-Infused Alcohol-Free Wine Cases

International Endeavors Corporation Inc. announced in February 2019 that its subsidiary CBD Winery received a purchased order for CBD-infused alcohol-free wine. The order totaled 100 cases of the beverage.

According to the purchase order terms, the customer has purchased 100 cases at wholesale price and can resell the wine in California. There are 12 bottles per case, and the suggested retail per bottle is $59.00. The wine will be produced in the Temecula Valley Wine County. It also seems that there has been an increase in demand for the wine, as CBD Winery is looking for other suppliers who can help meet demand.

The segue into CBD infused wine may has to do with the recent passage of the 2018 Farm Bill.

According to Barry Smith, the company’s spokesman,

“The company has been formulating a plan to bring CBD to market using alcohol free wine as the delivery vehicle. The company plans to scale operations to keep up with the surging demand for the CBD Winery brand. Currently CBD Winery is able to produce approximately 500 cases per quarter using in house product and will be working with various California wine growers to support excess demand. International Endeavors Corporation is very excited at initial demand of the product. We expect more product to be available in the coming weeks.”

The move into CBD infused way also spur additional growth in International Endeavor’s move toward CBD beverages. The company may have been looking into sellers who can handle sales of CBD-infused beverages. It also isn’t the only company interested in such beverages. For instance, Coca-Cola recently reported that it was “closely watching” CBD’s use as an ingredient in wellness beverages. However, PepsiCo does not seem to share the same sentiment. It stated that it does not have any plans at this point to pursue CBD beverages.

For those who are wondering about what CBD-infused wine is exactly, it is a wine beverage that contains CBD. In many instances, it is free of THC, the psychoactive substance in cannabidiol. There is still a great deal of research taking place concerning the potential benefits of CBD. Although there is no conclusive evidence yet, some believe that CBD has anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-depressant, and therapeutic qualities.
