Best Cannabis Companies To Work For 2020 Survey Launches by Cannabis Business Times

Cannabis Business Times and Cannabis Dispensary have officially launched the Best Cannabis Companies To Work For—2020 survey. This is an award given to identify the best employers in cannabis cultivation and dispensary markets.

The survey is done by the Best Companies Group (BCG).

Their editorial director Noelle Skodzinski said:

As the marketplace continues to develop in the U.S. and in Canada, competition for employees continues to increase significantly. We look forward to helping great companies attract top talent and showcasing the greatest places for driven professionals to work.”

Who qualifies for the award?

The business should have 50% or more of the business coming from either Cannabis Cultivation Operation or Cannabis Dispensary and should be a publicly or privately held entity. They have to be based out of the US or Canada. If not, they should have a minimum of 15 full-time or part-time employees working in the U.S. or Canada. Additionally, they should be in business for over a year.

How does the survey work?

Participating organizations must complete a two-part process to be considered for inclusion on the list. The first part consists of evaluating each registered company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics and is worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience and is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determine the top companies and which companies are included on the list.

It takes about 10-15 minutes to fill the survey. The registration deadline is September 6th and could be done on bestcompaniescannabis.com.
