Vita Coco Introduces Coconut Water-based CBD Drinks To UK Market

The New CBD Drinks Will Be Available in Three Flavors.

The CBD market is quickly growing in product selection around the world, and CBD-infused drinks are one of the most popular products being launched. This type of drink allows consumers to gain the relaxing qualities that CBD has to offer with a flavorful drink that is easy for the body to digest. Vita Coco is one of the latest companies to embark on this type of endeavor, offering a new line of three coconut-water drinks.

The new drinks will be available in Lemon Cardamom, Apple Ginger, and Cloved Orange. All of the drinks have 23 calories per 300 ml can, using 100% natural ingredients. They offer just three grams of sugar and are infused with 20mg of CBD. Starting on November 21^st, consumers will be able to get the drinks from independent shops and convenience stores in the UK.

Vita Coco’s managing director, Tim Rees, stated,

“The launch of Vita Coco CBD is hugely significant for us. Sales of CBD products are continuing to grow globally, and we are excited to be one of the first major drink brands investing in this category.”

Reese added that this formula is “a completely new product innovation” for the Vita Coco brand, but it allows them to provide consumers with an option that is low in sugar with an infusion of CBD. Coconut water already has its own health benefits, and the addition of CBD only amplifies an already healthy experience. Rees believes that these moves are adding “new moment of consumption to the soft drinks category,” but it doesn’t leave the heart of the brand behind.
