Wild Kombucha Debuts New Blood Orange CBD Drink For Consumers In MD, PA And DC

A Total Of 25 mg of CBD is included in every 12-ounce bottle.

The new flavor, Blood Orange, complements the natural kombucha tartness.

Kombucha has been one of the most popular types of drinks in the health industry for all of the ways that it can improve the health of the gastrointestinal system Now, the team behind Wild Kombucha wants to amplify those effects with their new Blood Orange CBD, which allows consumers to gain the support of both kombucha and CBD. CBD is a non-intoxicating compound that is derived from hemp, and it is linked to relaxation and anxiety relief.

Sid Sharma, the creator of Wild Kombucha, stated,

“We know the gut-health benefits that kombucha already offers as a potential source of probiotics and antioxidants, and the addition of CBD allows us to offer something auxiliary that you don’t often see. It’s an approachable way for people to try CBD if they haven’t had it before.”

Wild Kombucha was also started with the help of co-founders Adam Bufano and Sergio Malarin.

Consumers won’t actually taste the CBD at all, as the formula is water-soluble and allegedly flavorless. While some consumers may grow concerned that this remedy must be low in CBD to make it unnoticeable to the taste buds, but each 12-ounce bottle of the Blood Orange CBD kombucha drink offers the user 25 mg of CBD.

Bufano remarked,

“I knew I wanted to combine a citrus and floral flavor because of how well they complement the natural tartness of kombucha. I also saw it as an opportunity to expose more people to blood orange.”

Every bottle for this beverage is made of clear glass, unlike the amber bottles that the company offers for the other eight flavors available. The choice to offer a transparent, uncolored glass is an effort to set apart the CBD blend from the others.

Sharma explained that the main purpose of this brand is to offer kombucha drinks. However, along with the launch of CBD-infused drinks, the company has developed cocktails and ice cream with the kombucha flavor. The company also offers community yoga to the public via the brewery.

Presently, Wild Kombucha dedicates 1% of the total sales to their partner – the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. The founders noted,
