Some people may suffer from what they call a “weed hangover.” This condition is seemingly marked by a foggy or groggy feeling, and it may occur by consuming too much THC.
One study assessed the phenomenon. The study entailed looking at 13 male participants. They smoked either 2.9 delta 9 THC or a placebo. Their smoke inhalation was monitored. The study’s findings suggested that marijuana smoking may be able to cause residual hangover effects a day after smoking. There is still a need to determine the precise nature, extent, and practical implications of the hangover effects.
Because there are still questions as to the nature and extent of the hangover, how to address it may also be unknown. But in general, perhaps some good hydration to cleanse the body may be the way to go. No guarantees though.
