Greg Norman Launches CBD Product Line for Active Men and Women

• The new product collection will include treatments for before and after physical activity, as well as general body care.
• Other golfers involved in the cannabis and CBD industry presently include Bubba Watson, Lucas Glover, and others.

The CBD market is being filled with new brands, but former athletes have been creating a new level of products as the laws regarding CBD use change. Greg Norman, who has been called the Great White Shark of Golf, is reportedly getting involved with his own product line for men and women. The collection is due to specifically provide consumers with hemp-based CBD formulas.

According to Golf.com, Australia native’s collection will include ingredients from his home country, like Kunzea oil, Australian Sea Salt, and Tasmanian blue gum, meant to sooth muscles, relax the body, and offer relief, respectively.

The product line will include:

• Cool-Down Muscle Gel (500 mg CBD)
• Revitalizing Muscle Soak (250 mg CBD)
• Shave Cream (100 mg CBD)
• Aftershave (200 mg CBD)

• Body Spray (100 mg CBD)
• Body Lotion (150 mg CBD)
• Shampoo (100 mg CBD)

The new product launch is due to a collaboration between Norman and Green Growth Brands. Green Growth Brands, which focuses on developing “remarkable” interactions for consumers with cannabis and CBD, partnered directly with the co-owner of Norman’s brands – Authentic Brands Group. Peter Horvath, the CEO of Green Growth Brands, stated that Norman was the “perfect athlete” for such a collaboration, explaining that he possesses a “clear vision” on the impact of CBD in the sports industry.

Norman recently spoke on the positive effects that CBD can have on men and women that maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. He commented,

“I played professional golf for 40 years and continue to lead an extremely active lifestyle. Hitting millions of golf balls in a lifetime can – and will – cause strain and injury on anyone’s body, despite their age or physical wellbeing.”

Through the last few years, more golfers have gravitated towards the relief that CBD can provide. There are already multiple players that are active in the PGA Tour that have chosen to sign endorsement deals with these types of companies, including Charley Hoffman, Lucas Glover, and Bubba Watson.
