Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) Unveils 10 New Acceptable Pesticides on Cannabis

Upon the request of understanding which pesticides are acceptable for cannabis growth, the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) has reviewed existing labels. The department has since revealed pesticides that are trusted to be in favor of the Pesticide Applicator’s Act reports Cannabis Business Times.

The respective list of acceptable pesticides include BAC ag, Custos, Dart Fungicide EC, Earth’s Ally Insect Control and Repellent (RTU), Grower’s Ally Spider Mite Control (RTU), Grower’s Ally Spider Mite Control Concentrate, Howler Fungicide, Jet-Ag, Thyme Guard and Weed Slayer.

Those that have not been included appear to have limited uses. For instance, potassium laurate should only be used prior to final transplant. Similarly, capric acid has not made the list due to the label warnings that indicate increased rates of crop damage. This is just a sample of pesticides that have not made the cut!
