Birdhouse CBD Balm for Athletes by 1933 Industries to Launch with Tony Hawk

  • This CBD Balm Was Developed With the Company that Tony Hawk Founded.
  • Consumers will be able to purchase the balm in dispensaries and specialty stores.

Athletes are gravitating towards the use of topical CBD remedies at a rapid pace, making this time the prime opportunity for brands to launch their products. 1933 Industries has recently collaborated with Birdhouse Skateboards, a company founded by Tony Hawk, to develop a CBD balm. According to an article from Proactive, the company is aiming to launch the new product by November 4th.

This balm is developed for the purpose of the active sports market, and consumers will be able to purchase the remedy in specialty stores like Zumiez, along with dispensaries and wellness stores. The company sees the pull that the CBD products have on people, improving the athletic performance and recovery of consumers. Along with CBD, this balm contains multiple essential oils like arnica, peppermint, and menthol.

Chris Rebentisch, the CEO, released a statement, commenting,

“We are just starting to scratch the surface of the many applications associated with the cannabis plant and we are pleased to be part of a national conversation on its potential. The anecdotal benefits keep mounting and we believe that this market is underserved.”

Hawk appears to have the same sentiment, commenting that this new balm is the first time that they are collaborating with the creators of Canna Hemp X. He stated that,

“The balm was meant to be developed with athletes of all levels in mind.” Continuing, he added, “Sports like skateboarding require the highest quality recovery products to sustain longevity. We also hope to create awareness of the potential of CBD and in making natural products more accessible nationwide.”

With the partnership with Eastern Skate Supply, which is the top domestic skateboarding distributor in the US, 1933 Industries has already established the distribution channels for this launch.
