New WeHo Zero-Calorie CBD Hemp Extract Chaser Drink Mixer is Here

  • The Chaser brand can be used to chase a drink or to mix in a cocktail.
  • Consumers can purchase this product starting today.

WeHo is a wellness-centered startup with roots in Los Angeles, which couldn’t be a better location for their target audience. In an effort to bring more health-conscious consumers to their doorstep, the company is launching their first brand – Chaser. Chaser has no calories, no sugar, and plenty of electrolytes, but the biggest appeal is the 20mg of hemp extract in every bottle.

As stated in a PR Newswire press release, Chaser is designed to be exactly what it says – a chaser – which can be added to alcoholic drinks directly or consumed right after to make their drinking experience a little more appetizing. Chaser is officially launching their two products today, aiming to make shots tastier and easier for the body. The two products – Sweet Tangy Lime Chaser and Cocktail Mixer and the CBD Drip Bottle – takes away the burn of a shot, but consumers will likely enjoy a much greater benefit hours later – no hangover.

Each drink features natural and locally sourced ingredients, as well as hemp-derived CBD, to offer a healthy alternative to the many sugary chasers and sodas that are presently available as mixers. Hemp CBD is known for the healing and therapeutic elements, offering ingredients that are as tasty as they are good for the body. Every drink contains vegan ingredients, is gluten-free, and is bottled in Los Angeles with recyclable glass.

Jonathan Hekmat, the founder and CEO of WeHo Bev. Co., stated that the purpose of this product was largely to appeal to Millennials and Gen Z consumers for their focus on wellness and being socially conscious.

Hekmat added,

“I began to analyze today's drinking culture and looked at how Millennials consume experiences while Gen Z is radically independent, unique and curious. Chaser enhances the lifestyle of our consumers by cultivating a new type of drinking culture; one defined by creating experiences and different ways of consuming alcohol while incorporating the new-age interest in health and wellness.”

The goal ultimately was to create products that change the way that consumers view the consumption of alcohol, while also introducing them to a way to safely consume CBD. The products can be found in stores and online today, though the brand will hopefully enter natural grocery stores next year.
