New Men’s CBD Haircare Line by Barba Roja Will Feature Cannabidiol Ingredient

The use of CBD is becoming more and more popular around the world, though it is going so far beyond the original therapeutic purposes. The beauty industry is grasping onto this ingredient, and the haircare industry is one of the latest ones to get involved. Barba Roja, a hair care brand in Colombia, was featured at the Expo Belleza last week to showcase their haircare line, which will now be including CBD.

Reported by Cosmetics Design, this new brand comes after 18 months of research to determine the best way to integrate the ingredient. Santiago Campuzano Hoyos, the creator of this line, developed a shampoo, conditioner, beard protector, and styling pomade. All of the formulas feature a balanced amount of high-quality CBD.

Hoyos said that the research discovered that CBD helps with nourishing the hair, though there is also evidence that the use of CBD in hair products helps with regrowth. However, this regrowth does not occur with consumers that have genetic conditions that cause hair loss.

Along with CBD, the new haircare products have many natural ingredients that are balanced in a way that improves the condition of the scalp and the hair. To ensure that this product line is met with positive responses, the company made sure to put the products through both consumer and medical trials, which seemed to have worked in their favor.

Going forward, Barba Roja plans to promote the use of their haircare line throughout the Colombian market. Ultimately, the brand hopes to expand to the USA to sell their products to a broader market.
