Minute Suites Becomes the First U.S. Airport Concessionaire to Sell CBD Products in Atlanta

Minute Suites has made history by becoming the first airport concessionaire in the United States to offer CBD products.

By the end of August this year, all locations of their Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) will sell Cannabidiol (CBD) in compliance with the 2018 farm bill, which implies that all products will be in the forms of CBD allowed by TSA on flights.

This decision by Minute Suites is part of its commitment to travelers’ health by offering natural medicinal alternatives for air travel stress and fatigue.

Talking about the new development, the CEO of Minute Suites Chris Glass said that the company is “fortunate” to pioneer CBD products’ availability in ATL. He went on to say that CBD fits its wellness mission as it has proven effective in treating an array of physical health condition symptoms.

Minute Suites provides private suites at airports for travelers to relax, work, or nap before flights or during long delays. It also sells health-related products like travel sheets, neck pillows, noise-canceling headphones, and sleep masks. CBD will be among the products sold at the ATL locations.

In the U.S., Minute Suites has six locations. In 12 months, it will have 15 locations, including John F. Kennedy Airport, Baltimore Washington International Airport, and four new locations in ATL.
