Dollar General Stores have announced that they will be selling 20 CBD topical cosmetic products in about 1,100 stores in Tennessee and Kentucky, according to a press release.
The release explains that by spring 2020, the products will be available in seven more states, including Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, and Vermont. The CBD products that will be available are limited to topical cosmetics, such as creams, ointments, bath salts, face masks, and bath bombs.
Jason Reiser, the executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of Dollar General, shared in the press release that “the customer is at the center of all we do” and that the addition of CBD products is an “extension” of the brand’s ongoing commitment to providing customers with “a curated and affordable assortment” of products that they are looking for. He further added, “Our decision to offer CBD products is based on customer interests or demands.”
