Coca-Cola Billionaire, Swissx CEO Heads to Puerto Rico with Millions Worth of Hemp Plants

Alkiviades “Alki” David, the CEO of Swissx and owner of dozens of Coca-Cola bottling plants around the world, is reportedly flying to Puerto Rico $3 million worth of hemp seeds and plant clones.

Just last week, he was arrested on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts for allegedly smuggling cannabis plants and seeds worth about $1.3 million onto his private jet. He also reportedly told the Daily Mail that the purpose of carrying the cannabis plants was to develop a legal cannabis business in the region.

As for his current trip to Puerto Rico, Davis said in a recent press release sent to The GrowthOp,

“I am bringing Swissx Express to Puerto Rico today on a mission of agricultural relief. Since Donald Trump has turned his back on these U.S. citizens, it’s up to the business sector to stand up and find ways to help the territory rebuild.”

David also seems to believe that Swissx could be a “perfect partner” for farmers in Puerto Rico, many who have been negatively impacted economically by Hurricane Maria. He added,

“With legal hemp, developed specifically for its use in wellness, the agricultural industry can plant a high-value crop with a guaranteed buyer.”

He also has a vision as to how his proposed hemp business will impact the country. He stated,

“I am coming to Puerto Rico with my master growers, millions of dollars of hemp seeds, and a plant to affect change. What we do will be historic, and it will become a model for how many struggling countries in the Caribbean can see a major economic turnaround.”
