Amy Sedaris Calls CBD “Brilliant” As Solution To Foot Pain On Emmy’s Red Carpet

Even though CBD companies cannot make any medical or therapeutic claims over what their products can do, much of the evidence suggests that CBD is a helpful cure for pain and inflammation in the muscles. Considering how widespread this knowledge is, it should come as no surprise that celebrities are willing to use this remedy to get through awards season, like Amy Sedaris.

Sedaris is known for her many comedic roles in the entertainment industry, and she decided to wear a pair of glitzy Jimmy Choo heels at the Emmy’s this weekend. However, with so many hours of socializing and leading up to the event, keeping her feet comfortable is a priority, which is exactly why she turned to the use of a CBD remedy by Lord Jones called Stiletto Cream.

Stars like Michelle Williams and Mandy Moore are both fans of the Body Lotion by Lord Jones ($60), but Sedaris took to Instagram to show a series of pictures, tagging Lord Jones for the use of the Stiletto Cream. Earlier this month, Lord Jones collaborated with Tamara Mellon, a shoe designer to the stars, in an effort to launch the new Stiletto Cream, which is available for $70. Dr. Suzanne Levine spoke with Page Six Style this year, commenting that the use of topical CBD products offers “an excellent way to decrease focal pain.” Dr. Levine added that the bloodstream absorbs “very little CBD,” but still can offer improvement in pain and inflammation.
